(I dont know what it means but I am guessing that may be H-1B visa processing is hogging up all the time)

anyone else had clues as to whats going on at CSC?

It seems you are guessing right. My fiance talked to TSC manager a month ago and was told that they were extremely busy processing zillions of H1 applications for seasonal migrating workers, thus all other visa petitions were slowed down. Same must apply to CSC.

I only wonder why they wouldn't send part of these other petitions to, say, VSC. :) But that's a rhethoric question.

All 4 service centers get slammed with H1 applications.

YMMV

I got touched twice this week: monday & tuesday, and then nothing. Any ideas??

My K-1 application at CSC was touched on a Monday and Tuesday with no change in teh status about 90 ddays after mailing it. Everyone who has a NOA1 the same week as me started posting their were approved. Me? Nothing! I ended up calling CSC the next week and was told I had been approved but no email was sent out. My petition was already at NVC by the time CSC told me on the phone I was approved.

I do not want to get your hopes up, but it does happen. Good luck!

Thanks, I hope that is my case too. I will call them today, I am getting a little bit paranoic and starting to think that something is wrong

I don't know if this means anything (because it doesn't look like more NOA2's occured this week than last week) but I have noticed that more people are reporting touches this week....which could be an indication that they are starting to work on other petitions, not just the H1B ones, right?

Just trying to make sense of the slow-down and hoping that things pick up speed from now on. Lets go CSC, give us some approvals!

I can't imagine they are handling applications just so they can look busy. All these apps are being "touched" for a reason and hopefully they are being prepared for processing. I see all the messages about 45 days, but the USCIS always give worst case scenarios. Lets hope to see a bunch of NOA2's like real soon! Numbers like 20 or 30 in one week have been reported on this site before.
