Hello again,

We posted off our K1 package to TSC on 12th April. And apprently (According to various VJers) an NOA1 can be expected after 10-12 days.

My question: is the 10-12 days measured from when TSC take receipt of the package or from when it is received at CSC? If the latter, does anyone know what sort of time I can expect to receive NOA1?

(We tracked the package via USPS and it was signed for at TSC on 17th April).

Thanks

:D

Unfortunately, it could take longer or they may never mail it to you at all. Check with your bank to see if they cashed your check, if they did, the cancelled check should have your receipt # on it. Then try to plug the number in the USCIS web page to keep track of it.

There have been a number of us (mine was received at NSC on April 11th) that still do not have one. I think last year around this time there were a number with the same situation. There is a slow down in NOA2's as well, and I guess all we can do is wait. I know it's driving me nuts thinking about it, but they signed for it in the mailroom, and they are bundled for CSC after that. It should come soon enough most likely with a NOA1 date earlier than what you would expect given the wait.

It took me what seemed like a while to get my NOA1. Remember that VJ only caculates for those on the site. I'd give it 4 weeks before I called.

You are absolutely right, VJ is a small number of petitions, but it is a good statistical sampling and has proven itself to be pretty accurate. I think that most of us waiting for the NOA1 are more concerned about the petition being misplaced, lost, or otherwise mishandled. I would gladly sit back and relax knowing that I have a case number and that we are in the system now.

I see that there have been a number of "touches" for the January filers yesterday, and maybe things are going to start moving again. I hope so, I want to see everyone get their approvals, and see the "machine" back to work.

Our check just cleared today!! Unfortanately the WAC number on it is sooooooo light, I can barely read half the numbers... after trying about 6 different combinations.. i think i finally found the right one, but i don't want to register it until i know for sure.. lol.. that would be horrible to have someone elses number while mines somewhere else..

They ask a ton of questions to make sure they're talking to the right person. The questions they asked me were my name, husband's name, my date of birth, husband's date of birth, my complete address and husband's address and of course my social security #. Once I answered all questions correctly they gave me the information I was calling about. They are very nice people by the way, at least with the few I've had to deal with so far.

Our I-129F was received at TSC on April 17th, but no NOA1 yet. I sent a money order, and it was cashed on April 26th. Do you know if they cash checks at TSC or CSC?
