And I agree with the rest that reading the guides will definetly help you too, even if you do hire an attorney, the better informed you are about the process, the better chance you have to make a decision that bests suits you and your fiancee. Government web sites are very informative...but not very user friendly in my opinion, I think you'll find that the guides on this web site are much easier to follow and understand.

You guys need to stop exciting me that we could get married now and skip the separation part.

I think comments like these above illustrate the OP did not have immigrant intent upon last arrival.

I tend to agree with you Lisa. But we aren't AO's.

I'd really like for the OP to run this by competent counsel. Just to be sure.
