humbled... absolutely humbled by your interest in my timeline, but i would like to refrain from giving out more information than i already have. i am a husband of an absolutely gorgeous cr-1 creature and we are both anxiously awaiting her 10-year card through the process of removing conditiions. i just don't think there is any point in my saying much else as my timeline seems to correspond to everyone else's.if it hadn't, i'd let everyone know about it.

i do know what folks refer to as "touched" ... i just find it funny... pardon me :-)

The "interest" in your timeline is nothing personal. The data contained in your timeline (when it is filled in and updated) is used to give information to others looking to see "similar" timelines, in order to help them better understand their process/waiting time. It seems a bit selfish that you've taken advantage of the information posted in others' timelines to conclude that yours corresponds to everyone else's, yet you're reluctant to "give out more information than [you] already have."

The request to fill in your timeline is simply a way of giving back to this website that has helped you along in your immigration process.

Back to the topic: I've always wondered how this term was created. I don't think USCIS calls it a "touch". I would simply refer to it as an update, since that's what it is.... But I guess that would be too simple.
