Hi guys,

Quick question:

My fiance needs a police report from Ukraine and he already got his package 3 which is almost ready to send back to the embassy. Now it looks like interviews are being scheduled within a month in Israel after they get the package 3.....he's going to the lawyer on Monday who works with Ukraine and can get his police report within 2-4 weeks. My question is this........what happens if he will have his interview and he won't receive his police report from Ukraine by that time. Can he still go to the interview and then just bring the police report to the embassy as soon as he gets it or will he have to reschedule his interview for a later day?

Thanks all

Have a wonderful weekend :)

GREETINGS

I see noone has replied and I dont know if I am the best to offer my advice, but I know this forum means so much to me, so I will try to help you the best I can.

He can and should still go to his interview, then they will, if he gets approved, will issue him the visa once he brings in the police report. They will say yes and tell him that once he gives them the police report he can have his visa.

Hope that helps

I'm not familiar with that embassy, but some embassies won't schedule the interview until package 3 is sent back to them. So, he could just delay sending back his pkg 3 until he gets his police check. But, if he has an interview without having the police check with him they will probably make him wait until he can provide it to them before giving their approval. Good luck

221 g..is a catch all..it usually means more evidence is needed or information needed for visa is not complete....

we got one..but it was for the visa to be send back to america and request a denial...

yes, he need to reschedule an appointment and bring in the police report and translation when he receives it

I think a 221g is a request for more information. I believe Bro Dean meant do not cancle your interview and if you do not have the police report by the interview date they will give you a 221G to request the police report when you recieve it. This way you just give them what they want if all goes well.

Good luck.

I will most likely be in the same boat as you as my fiance needs to get his police report from the UK and it can take up to 40 days. I agree with everyone who has posted, they will approve you but you will need to provide that to them before they issue the visa.

Good luck!
