If I-134 for a K3 visa, it will depend on what the consular officer wants. If you're not going to be the sponsor, they may not require financial information from you. Best be prepared with it, though, because you may not have an authoritative answer in advance.

If I-864 for an immigrant visa (or for AOS after a K3 visa), you must be the sponsor and must submit your financials even if you'll need a joint sponsor.
