income tax return

hi i filed a petition for ki and it has been sent to guang zhuo china. my problem is this i am a viet nam vet i get a 100% diability from the veterans administration total and permenant i receive 2400.00 a month and i also get social security disability 1500.00 a month total 49800.00 a year but both are not taxable income how do i handle this

i don't file taxes. my other question is do they actually verify income tax returns. if anyone can give me some good advise i would appreciate it very much. I worry so much about this. :

you just need ot show documentation to varify your income. a letter from your bank telling the deposits that have been made for the year, checking accounts statements, any documentation you can show the monthly benefits your receiving. The CO just wants to know that your fiance will not becme a public charge. your monthly income should more than met the income requirements.

If I am right, you get a benefits statement at the beginning of each year. IT shoudl show how much you will receive, if there was a COLA (cost of living allowance). This would be very good proof.
