Perhaps it's just my imagination...but it seems like good old CSC has slowed considerably since the 5th. I was looking at the timelines, and only see one NOA2 since then. Any other signs of life that haven't been listed on the timelines? I've also noticed our estimated adjudication date creeping steadily up and up.

I assume our friends at CSC took a nice long 3 day weekend, but come one - send the Easter Bunny home already and get crackin' on those visas!!! :D

Please someone - give us some good news from CSC. Raise morale!

I agree w/ you, there does seem to be a slowdown. My estimated adjudication date has gone from May 29 to June 6 in the past week and a half! :crying:

I just really hope things pick up for this next two weeks of April and it makes up for the slowdown in the first half of the month! *keeping fingers crossed*

Timeline

I was just looking at the timeline myself...I feel like a kid chasing a balloon, every time I bend over to pick it up my foot kicks it and it soars off again!!! Every time I get within a day of the your case may be adjudicated by date it goes up a few days. I know in reality this has nothing to do with actual processing of my case, but its a little ray of hope or not as the case may be!!!! :crying:

It does seem like CSC has slowed up a bit. But then I have to remind myself that the petitions from the filers here on VJ represent only a very small fraction of the total petitions CSC has to adjudicate. It's possible that there are not hardly any VJ petitions in the current batch they are working on. Anyway, thats my story and I am sticking to it...

04/19/2006 - met for the first time

01/12/2007 - sent I-129f to Nebraska

Actually, that makes a lot of sense!

CSC is never fast. I think the OP was just commenting that it seems that they've slowed now to slower than usual, even for CSC...and judging by the ever creeping(up) dates for possible adjudication on some of our timelines....maybe there is something to the observation. It makes sense to me, but then...every time I see that my date keeps moving futher into the month of June I just get a little bit more crazy. Argh!! I know there's no rhyme or reason to this, I just wish some part of it made sense and had logic to it. Wishful thinking, I know.

Yeah, I knew what the OP meant. I was just voicing the frustration that I remember oh so well. What's even scarier is that the entire fiance process used to be even slower than it is now. They've actually improved somewhat, from what I've read...!

Improved my A$$! I don't care what anyone tells me, waiting 6-9 months, or even more in some cases, without my fiance(e)....then having to rush to marry, put together paperwork and file for AOS so my new husband does not fall "out of status" the waiting another 6+ months for the greencard does not sound like improvement to me. (Not sure what would make me happy, but processing times that look something like VSC's would certainly be a nice start. :P )

I'm just frustrated for everyone else who has already waited a lot longer than I have...and frustrated at the thought of how much longer I have to wait. :(

I know - just telling you what I read! Oh and I was referring to just service center wait times - not the entire process (including the consular bit).
