http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=203646&hubname= Never did like Monkies!!

I'm hoping my beloved Flames can turn it around and win the cup this year, how likely is that to be honest, probably not great, but ya never know, play off hockey is totally different that regular season hockey. Teams get hot, crucial players get injured and as usual the Maple leafs are out golfing!!

As much as I want to see my Flames win, I just want to see entertaining hockey!!!! I went to the Capitals last home season game this past saturday, was soo pathetic I left before the 2nd period ended!!!

I signed up NHL center ice online, will see how that goes, but as of 7:10 pm eastern I'm unable to watch the Sens/Pitts game!! So I have no clue on what games I will actually get to watch!! Was $49 usd for the playoffs. Maybe game time is 8 pm eastern. I would like to see the Sens win, BUT I'm a big Crosby fan, as well as Fleury (goalie) Let the games begin!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

the Leafs aren't in it, so I choose not to care :P

Seriously, I am interested in seeing how Sidney Crosby fares in the playoffs.

We were on a Westjet flight coming into Toronto during the NY/NJ game, which would decide the fate of the Leafs. When they turned off the satellite feed prior to landing, everyone groaned, so they turned it back on just in time for us to catch the NJ goal with less than 1 second to go in the 3rd period. The whole plane cheered and then the feed shut down so we would leave the plane. Westjet. Gotta love 'em.

Haha, I saw the Leafs and the Thrashers when my GF visited me a few weeks ago. It was fun with her cheering for the Canadian team and me cheering for the American team ;) We ran into a guy there that had driven down from Toronto just to see the game! Apparently sponsorship of a Canadian includes a affidavit to watch hockey!

We both love watching hockey. My hubby is a HUGE hockey fan.

We actually went to see the Thrashers play Buffalo a few weeks ago.

I love going to see a NHL game. There just exciting to watch.

I do like the HABS, but since I moved here I have been really into the Trashers team. Plus there is two guys on the team that are from Nova Scotia. One is actually from my County, so thats neat to be able to cheer them on.

This is the first year the Thrashers have been in the playoffs, so my husband is THRILLED.

Going to Atlanta Saturday to watch their second playoff game.

I miss Hockey Night in Canada. :crying:

LOL. One of the reasons I tried really hard to open a mobile phone service account using my Canadian cell phone was the Hockey Night in Canada ring tone I had on it. Never had any success so I guess I'll have to download another one into my new phone.

Ha! After years of going only to Caps games, Derek and I finally got a chance to go back home a few weeks ago and see the Islanders play Montreal at the Nassau Coliseum. Holy #######, it was rocking! I forgot what real fans - and hockey - are like! Lots of Habs fans there as well, and the funniest chant (from a VJ perspective) I heard was, "Where are your green cards?" Best of all (besides the Isles winning of course), was that Bobby Nystrom was sitting literally 3 rows in front of me and signed the back of my sweater. Not going to wash that any time soon, lol.

By the way, Scott, lookes like your Flames are on Versus tonight. That's channel 64, at least at the Barton House.

I also have to say it..

Go Red Wings!...

I'll be at the game tonight... I'd take Scott with me, but only if he wore his Lanny McDonald sweater and grow a great full bushy beard like him... and promise to be quiet..
