The thing is I am not sure how to burn a CD on my computer, as I totally always had my ex doing it for me. #######! Although... I bet it could go the infinately more expensive route and just buy like a flash drive and save it on that. Hmmm.... or! I bet I could post them all on my vimeo account and have him download them and make him do it! yes! Better solution that doesn't really involve me!

Good thing about the questions too.. I think he knows what kind of movies I like? Although we have never watched a movie together of our own choosing... he watches the news then I would take a nap and finally we'd just start to talk and turn off the TV. We were both working all the time and in a rented apartment. He does know what kind of pizza I like!

Oh! And another question which could be helpful to you all in other consulates too:

Has anyone ever tries to submit digital media as evidence? like home movies??

my husband submitted our wedding video, did they look at it, probably not, but he submitted it anyways.

Don't be scared about getting denied. Amman is way different than Casa. If you get a 221g its usually because they want more evidence. You seem to have all your evidence in order. Some people they ask for the evidence and some they don't. They asked my husband questions a husband should know about his wife. Like what kind of movies i liked or what size of clothing i wear..etc

Hi Angel ! Good to see you around these parts....

Very true about the Amman style of interview. Didn't they ask Kelly's (dollface's) husband stuff like what she liked on her pizza ?

(F)

-MK

Hi MK ! yeah they did ask her that. Oh yeah also that city and state question and answer they ask. A lot of guys assume detroit or another city is a state. Sometimes they don't know the difference between a state and a city.

I only know how to burn mp3s to a cd, and you need a program i have roxio. They might be interested in how you met. I know in our interview they wanted to see evidence we communicated throughout our marriage. They weren't too interested in how me met, but since you both met in jordan on a dig site that might be interesting to them. I wish we still had that old thread where we posted all the questions they asked to us. Both me and Amal got 221gs requesting more evidence. That whole month of January i was freaking out because we took back the evidence and the embassy was closed most of the month. It was a long month!!!!

In a way I hope they DO dwell on things like how we met. That, to me, is one of the strong points of our case: that we're in the same dicipline and met on the same excavation. It's a pretty normal kind of thing: people meet at work, then go out, then are an item, then get engaged, then get married, you know? Normal :)

things I kind of hope they don't dwell on are like my past marriage and the whole why move to the US thing. He is really only coming here because he doesn't make a livable wage in jordan, nor will he ever with just as MA. He has to get his PhD and then we plan to skip out of town and go back. And so, that's the whole point of this deal. That and he wants to begin to pop out the 4 children. Like yesterday. or 6... he's also now waffling about 4-6. if they keep making him wait, I can already tell the number will fast go up to 8.

Maybe I should send them an email about THAT.

Dear Amman IV Unit:

Please have mercy on my nether regions. The longer you seperate me from my husband, the more children he talks about wanting to have with me. Although i am good with 4 or 5, he is soon thinking about 13 like his mother had. I believe, at this point in my life, that would require multiple births and i am not sure I have that kind of patience or chest-age, please let him come immediately and keep things below 6 lest i send you my medical bills for a prolapsed uterus.

Love,

Julianna.

I can only imagine how long that month seemed to you! I remember the feelings of dread when I went to get married and realized: OMG1 It;s thanksgiving! We have to go NOW to get my afadavit of single status!! LOL! i had totally forgotten, and that was only a 2 day deal :)

And I just wanted to add: for those who have never used windows movie maker it treally is the most awesomest freeware ever! (I mean free in the sense most of us never realized we even had it :) )

I believe Xp comes with burning software, I know at least you can do WMM stuff but I don't know about just regular files. My camera does some kind of file (I've never looked at the extension adn I am too lazy to do it now) that may need ot be converted in real player to a wmv, I'll see about it.

HAHA I talk a lot to myself in my own thread. Awesome.

Heehee! Yep! he doesn't want to wait beyond a year after he comes here. I'm fine with that, but 8? 6? Heee! I am an only child. I've tried explaining to him I have only ever lived with 2 other people, so even 3 others will seem like a lot! He says it's "Ok" as he will send me on vacation with them, so there will be one less person to deal with!

Always the joker :)

Ahhhhh babies. It's funny when my fiance first met, we were not romantically involved, I was ending a very short but failed marriage and I did not want kids. He never cared either. A year and a half later and we've got names picked out lolol. I'm just glad he doesn't want 6 or 8. We're hoping for 1 and at most 2, but I don't know see me in 5 years I guess lol.

By the way, the anxiety waiting these last days for our interview is killing me. I damned near gave myself a nervous breakdown deciding whether or not to go for the interview. Now it's like time is just standing still and the days slowing drifting by. I feel so selfish knowing there are others that have been in Immigration neverland much longer, but sometimes I wish they'd just call 10 days before the interview. Knowing months in advance - there's only so many cigarettes you can smoke, nails you can bite and planning you can do ugggggggg. lololol

Has anyone heard from Irene, her interview is coming up next week - slumber party Tuesday night right????

Well he would be following the normal Jordanian pattern! Now they all want two, except mine who wants 4.. 5.. 6... 36, you know. He has a few other plans, like how we can play hide-and-go-seek, and tell them to count at his sister's house while we run to Aqaba... or the one where we will move to Australia if immigration doesn't work out and let them be baby-sat by kangaroos... and basically, at this point, this all sounds like it has about the same realm of possiblity as anything going through immigration!

Irene PMed me and said she wanted to reply in here but kept getting kicked offline. She's sent out her last package to him, and now they're just waiting :) hers is on the 18th!

Julianna,

I get the same thing on my other laptop so I have to do a Fast Reply. When I hit the "reply" or start new topic I get kicked out. Something with browswer/internet connections. My fiance knows all about that stuff but I can't grasp how to fix it. Tell her to do just fast replies and it should work. She's gotta show up for her slumber party Tuesday night!!! Please give her our regards.

:)

Oh! And you should stop worrying :) I keep thinking to myself about how if the cases are decided in advance, or at least mostly in advance, then we're already in the boat we're going to sail in :) So nothing to worry for.

(this coming from the one who keeps sending him dish patterns and saying: would you like to have these???? June 5th? For dinner???)

Julianna, you're a little worry wart yourself secretly aren't you hahahaha. I am trying not to plan for anything until he gets the visa. Who knows about the AP anyway. I just would like to get to the interview and then we can plan next steps (as I'm biting my nails). I actually look forward to the work week beginning because its a distraction. School isn't really helping because I take classes remotely on my own time so I worry and stress first then I study. I'm not really worried we addressed every possible angle within the K1 petition, but I just freak out over stupid thoughts. Inshaallah it will be fine if it is God's will - so what's wrong with me :bonk::bonk:

I'm glad we have some slumber parties coming up though that will be fun. Irene just PM'ed me, she'll be here!!!! Yipppeeee..

Hey what about Angie, has she heard back from the embassy on her hubby's visa issuance? Anyone know? Angie where are you???

Ha! I didn't think my worrying was a secret :) Thus I have all these little posts everywhere about OMG and stress LOL. My fingertips are all bloody since I'm a nail-biter. And today? I got this awesome idea to relax and use the dead sea mud I had. Except in about 2 seconds I felt such excruciating pain in my fingers from the salt :) So needless to say, the 15 minute wait I thought I would have was over... about instantly.

I also sent Amman another email and asked about their ability to view digital media. So we'll see about that. I may have also used the words "awesomest" and "love" in that email.

I was just thinking (ie worrying, yes!) about my petitions. I sent in tiny ammounts of evidence but then was told to send all of it so within 2 days I sent the huge binders. I wonder if they combined them? I hope so!

ETA: I also told Ammar to not bring a bag of any kind but keep the big-a$$ white binder and the additional binders on his lap in a giant stack, and make them so freaking obvious. Maybe just stack them on the CO's desk if it looks like a possibility. Who knows. I know if they say I can go in, he's going to make me go, and in that case-- I'll be sure to make them obvious.
