Case approved, - California center

Finally got email "Case approved".

Timeline as follows:

Conditional greencard expires May 16, 2007

Sent application and support documents to CSC on Feb, 15, 2007

Received One year extention letter on March 7 and Biometrics appointment letter on March 8th, appointment for March 20th.

Went to the appointment March 20th (Las Vegas Local center)

On April 5th received email "Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT

RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED Current Status: Card production ordered."

On April 9th received email "Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT

RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED Current Status: Approval notice sent. On April 9, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this

CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED"

list of support documents we have included with application:

1) Affidevit from my wife's father

2) Affidevit from a friend

3) Photocopy of a credit cards with both our names and the same account number

4) Car insurance proof cards with both our names on all three cars

5) Copy of a recent bank statement with both our names, showing activity on the account

6) Photocopy of both of our driver licenses, showing the same address

7) photocopy of my green card, both sides as required.

We did not have any bills or house/apartment papers, since we live with my wife's family at their house. My father-in-law mentioned this in his affidevit.

We did not include tax info, since we did not file for this year (2006) at the moment of application, and I simply could not find the last year's one (for 2005).

I did not think it is necessary to include any pictures.

I have only included one copy of a most recent bank statement.

In all, our entire application was this thin envelope, just a few sheets of paper. Seemed to be enough.

BTW, I lived in Vancouver for a few years. Did not bother with K-visa, just got married here and applied for AOS.
