i am a nigerian citizen who lives in london on a temporary resident permit which expired yesterday,i have my interview in 2weeks at the US embassy london, i did not extend my residence permit as it takes about 4-8weeks for the documents to be processed and i would need my passport for the interview in 2 weeks,could anyone please tell me if this is okay?

09/14/2006 - US Embassy interview. Ask Lauren to marry me again, just to make sure. Says Yes. Phew!

10/02/2006 - Fly to New York, EAD at JFK, I'm in!!

10/14/2006 - Married! The perfect wedding day.

05/29/2007 - RFE (lost medical)

08/02/2007 - RFE received back at CSC

08/17/2007 - Green Card Arrives

09/24/2009 - Approved (twice)

10/10/2009 - Card Production Ordered

10/13/2009 - Card Production Ordered (Again?)

10/19/2009 - Green Card Received (Dated 10/13/19)

I suppose the Consular staff will let you know if it is a problem.

Technically you are out of status at the moment , so I don't know if the US embassy here will interview you based on that but then that's just my 2cents, Goodluck and I hope it is no problem since you have come this far. Cheers!
