1. I've read from somewhere that downloadable ITR is not admissible when the beneficiary have his/her interview with the local consul coz "somewhere" said that the USE officer will ask for signed ITR from the IRS. Is that true?

2. Plus, "somewhere" also says that the petitioners' bank statement account must be signed too by a bank officer? How true? My fiance is station to different places each year coz he is an army. And he is in CO right now. He opened his bank accounts way back many years ago in Hawaii and Miami and its not possible for him to fly anytime soon to HI or MI to have that bank statement accounts! Can he just have his relatives do that for him? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance. Julie

You were never a mistake. You were my realization.

1. I don't know if anything has changed since our interview in Dec 06. we just submitted tax transcripts from IRS, which were accepted.

2. bank statements do not need to be signed by a bank officier. If unable to obtain to obtain a bank letter, I think you will be fine submitting recent bank statements.

best of luck with your interview.
