Hello....

I have not been able to check on VJ lately. Got too busy with all the despedidas (farewell parties) left and right, 2-3 a day (lunch, merienda, dinner)! I'm pigging out! I think I gained 5 pounds the past week! Have to do last minute shopping for my US relatives' "bilins" still.

My next post will be made when I get to the US. I leave Manila on June 12.

Is is acceptable to use married name when filling out embassy or medical documents? I am in the process of answering forms available online or in softcopy (using photshop elements) to lessen the waiting time during interview (hopefully). Please advise.

To avoid confusion or delay, your surname should match your I-129F, passport and Ids.

Kathlene got her official medical papers yesterday, so she is now ready for her interview. They told her at St. Luke's that the embassy would contact her with her new appointment date since they canceled the first appointment due to her having to undergo additional medical testing.

Will the embassy automatically reschedule her appointment or do we need to call? I will send them an e-mail, but I know it could take longer to get a response than it will to get a new interview.

Kathlene is upset that she couldn't get her interview, but on the good side, with the early appointment we got (less than two weeks from sent to Manila to date of interview!) even with the delay, we are still ahead of when we originally thought she would get her interview.

THANKS! I will call them tonight after I get off work and touch base. I guess that is one good thing about the 13-hour time difference, I can make the phone calls I need after I get off my day job!

6/12/2007 7:27:29 PM SHIPMENT RECEIVED AT DISTRIBUTION CENTER

6/12/2007 7:05:26 PM SHIPMENT IN PROCESS

6/12/2007 10:58:27 AM SHIPMENT RELEASED BY THE EMBASSY

6/7/2007 3:52:36 PM SHIPMENT PROCESS IN THE EMBASSY

My delivery address is Laguna... how much more do I have to wait till I got my visa delivered? I'm worried because they might deliver it while I'm at work and nobody will be home. Will they contact me first before the delivery?

Any idea guys?

If they text you when you got the packet and you still have the couriers CP number. Call him and make arrangements as it's normally the same courier that delivers the visas!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

i got an instant message from jenneth(2hearts1beat) earlier and she told me that her fiance called USE and found out that they are scheduled for interview on August 7!! congrats!! :dance:

after knowing that, i tried my luck in checking the online site of USE gosh!!!! wuhoo!!! :dance: im so happy!!! i have medical and interview schedule already!!! wuhoo!!!! this is so exciting :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:
