Where is the ever kikay LuzyC?

Here's hoping that our thread will start being active again  It's nice to talk/write to all of you again.

Cheers!

Ate Cora (PW)

Hi PW,

nice to know everything going fine is going fine with you and your son. LuzyC is still around and active in VJ.

It seems the Manila Embassy Interview Thread's time has past for maintaining a timeline or posting questions about the process. Perhaps it could serve another purpose. maybe it could be a place where members post their interview experience. perhaps it could be a place where members post how they dealt with a specific issue during the visa process.

when a member creates a thread about experiences or how they've dealt with a specific issue, it tends to get lost in the back pages after time. the member may no longer be around to give advise to to someone with a simular situation. it seems a shame when valuable information which can be helpful to others goes to waste.

what does everyone think? any ideas or suggestions?

perhaps a pinned thread could be created where a link could be posted with to thread with useful information.

good/bad idea?

How does every one feel about letting the old thread die a natural death then we create a new one titled "Manila Embassy - Episode 3". Sub-title would be "Compare timelines, post questions, discuss your case here". Maybe we can attract more new members to join. Episode 3 will be our new baby. I will be the list caretaker again. I will try to find time.

The Sheriff does a great job of maintaining his guide as a source of information. Even though we have the Philippine Forum, it would be nice if there was a centralized location with a timeline. a place where members could ask questions and share experinces.

PW, your contributions were a driving force that made this thread so successful. it would be a shame to see it go.

however, it does now seem to be on life support. I say we go ahead and pull the plug.

hopefully members will take you up your on offer and it can be reborn.

its best to have her signed and mail it thru fed-ex, ups dhl etc... its not really advisable in my opinion base on my experience to have this certain kind of documents without her/your original signature on the paper itself (meaning not fax/scanned)... ive heard somebody got an RFE (request for edivence) just because USCIS thought it was a photo copy yet it was orginal that just look like a xerox lol... wish you luck! God bless!!!

you can have your wife also send it to you dhl or fedex it takes like 4 days and only costs about 20 usd. it is alot cheaper to send from phils to here dhl or fedex then it is to send from here to phils. just have her look into it.

good luck

the co sponsor will use same form I-864.

the I-864A is used when;

a household member who is not a sponsored immigrant, agrees to make his or her income and/or assets available to the sponsor to help support the immigrant for whom the sponsor has filed an affidavit of support.

  • 2 weeks later...

I used a co-sponsor..

Use the I-864 Form and fill it out, have the co-sponsor sign it.

Bring co-sponsor's copies of 3yrs ITR's

Consul will just ask you in what relation do you have with the Co-Sponsor.. That's it..

just some observations of some things I've seen recently in the Forum. what I liked this thread while I was going thru the process, was it's spirit of community. we may not have all agreed on everything, but we all had the same goals, being together with our SO's for a lifetime. It's ok if someone doesn't agree with you. don't take it personally.

there is an off topic forum in VJ for those who feel the need...

just my humble opinion....

peace all

Are you referring to the biographic info sheet? If so, it MUST be ORIGINALLY SIGNED by each concerned individual.
