I used a 3 ring binder and albumn pages that had places beside to write captions. Your way looks more professional...maybe I should redo...but from what Mohammed has heard most times they do not really look at alot of additional evidence. My case would be the one time they wanted everything else though if I didnt send it.

The "blong haired woman" really looked at our evidence.

Chasnik,

you've filed before for the same person and was denied? I didn't realize. How long ago did you file? Was it a K1? I'm asking because you would have needed to include a waiver with your packet. Did you know to do that?

The k1 was denied here on the basis that we hadnt met in the previous 2 years. I had a stupid lawyer who said that I could get a waiver of that due to work/kids issues. Not true dont believe this even if a lawyer tells you. So alot of heartache and money later here we are again. They did give us so many days to appeal, a deadline which my lawyer missed. So here we are, different lawyer.

I think you misunderstand what I am saying. Did you use a Waiver letter on top of your K1 packet?

Imbra law that came into effect last year Spring 06 requires you submit a waiver with your filed petition if you have filed for a k1 previously in the past two years of have applied for 2 or more in your lifetime!

if you did not you may get RFE'ed for it. If you don't understand what I am referring to check up the K1 forum on Waivers. There you can find examples. I also had to submit my packet with waiver. Just FYI :)

Here is how I chose to do our binders. I saw some other ones on here that used 3 ring binders and sheet protectors. I indexed all of our information, seperated it with a colored sheets, and highlighted the more important things.

Very nice presentation -- well done !

We didn't have anything as organized as that -- my husband had just a briefcase crammed full of a bunch of loose papers and a small photo album. But they didn't even look at any of it.

My fiance had his things all messed up too. He had them in a shopping bag until I suggested he put them in a briefcase. Thank you for you comment. I wanted to show a different way that a person could organize the binders if need be.
