Hi everyone, I think this is my first time posting, even though I've been reading the posts to this thread for about 2 months. I feel comfortable with the whole process thanks to reading about so many other members' first-hand experiences. I did just read a post on another thread that has me a little worried, though. My question is: "Does my fiancee need a new letter of intent from me for the interview"?

I thought the answer was "no", and therefore didn't send her a new one. If anyone could give me a little reassurance it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Congratulations on getting to the interview stage! I had a new letter of intent with me for my interview but wasn't asked for it and I'm not sure how many people ever are, to be honest I personally feel that a signed affadavit of support and recent evidence of an on-going relationship is far greater evidence that you intend to marry than a letter that anyone could type up!

Good luck

We did not have a new letter of intent and no one asked for it. Isn't it really proof enough, after you file all the paperwork and accumulate all the crappola that you need for it, that the intent is still there? Hoop....jump.....hoop.....jump.....hoop....jump..........yah, I think they still want to go through with this!!!!!
