Confused about what Affidav. of Support form to use

Mohamed called me and told he me notice the I 184 support form had expired... so I posted a question about it. BUT that opened a whole new can of worms.. cause now I am being told to use a 134 form???

I am confused.. please help

I found the I 134 form in the K1 section.. and it stated I should sign it under oath at a service center???

I would send both forms just to be sure....

I-134 is typically the form used for K-1/K-3, the I-864 is used for CR1/IR1 and AOS

Most will get their signature Notarized.

From the I-134 Form

If you are in the United States, the affidavit may be sworn to or affirmed before an officer of U.S.Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)without the payment of fee, or before a notary public or other officers authorized to administer oaths for general purposes, in which case the official seal or certificate of authority to administer oaths must be affixed.

You would just need to get it notarized.

How did people answer Question 11 on the 134 form???

if stated how do you intend to make contributations of support???

I answered that I did intend to make contributions in the form of room and board until my husband was able to find employment and help with household finances.

We went through the K-1 process so at that time, used the I-134. I filled in that question with the answer on the example form, N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence ). I just had it notarized. We used the I-864 form for AOS. Good Luck.

For the intent part my now husband wrote that he intended to give me room and board untill employment was available to me and this would continue forever cause we would be married
