Thank you all for the warm wishes and kind comments...it's always a comfort.

Amanda- Congratulations on this beautiful addition to your family. (F) How are you doing?

So far I am doing ok...I have wonderful support from my family but a WHOLE new respect for people with children, LOL. I spent six years in the military, including a tour in Iraq, but having a baby is the HARDEST thing I've EVER done in my life! The sleep deprivation is the worst...and what's with the whole 'crying' thing??? Huh?? To all you parents out there...I salute you.

Congratulations and a warm loving welcome to motherhood! :luv:(F)

The second day that I was home from the hospital after my first baby my mom brought me my first cup of Starbucks. Before that day I had only experienced Maxwell House and Dunkin' Donuts. To this day, even though my kids will be 10 and 11 this weekend (they're 361 days apart  ) I can only wake up with Starbucks. I think the best gift anyone can give new parents is a couple of pounds of coffee.

Congratulations to you both. You have a beautiful baby!!! I have not experienced motherhood yet but I am eager to get to that stage.....how ever I must adimist that the whole no sleep and all the scrying sounds quit scarry LOL.

You really get used to it. Trust me by the time that baby comes out you're used to no sleep for the last couple of months of the pregnancy. Plus I think God made babies so cute so that once we got over the whole getting out of bed part we'd just melt when we rock and feed them. I still cherish the memories of those 3am feedings. The house is all quiet, the streets are silent and dark and it's just you and your little miracle all snuggled up and smelling so awesome with that baby smell they get on the tops of their heads. Their lil eyes staring at you while they eat and then the lids get heavier and heavier..........................................
