please help! check bounced for I-751 form

Hi All,

my green card will be expiring 04/11/07. i have send my application on march 13 and i found out my check bounced on march 30 from the bank. USCIS send me my receipt notice that says they extend my status for one year and asc appoinment notice but nothing about check. i am freaking out. does anyone have an idea what should i do now?

Make an infopass or call the information line, but definetly have the cheque ready to go when you are there.

June 1/06 - Moved to CSC

August 12/06 APPROVED - NOA2!!

August 28/06 Left NVC. . . Vancouver Bound!

September 27/06 Interview APPROVED, with visa in hand

January 16/07 Sent out AOS, EAD, and AP docs

January 23/07 NOA1's for AOS, EAD and AP

February 13/07 Biometrics in Portland, OR

May 7/07 Greencard is in my hands!

February 17/09 Sent I-751 to CSC

February 18/09 NOA1

March 14/09 Biometrics appt.

April 22/09 Date of Approval!!

June 25/09 Greencard arrives in the mail!

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

Trust me...you want to let them know before they let you know. Either make an infopass appointment...or go mail another check...this time make it a money order.

5/16/05 - Successful (and fast) AOS interview in Cherry Hill!!!

3/1/07 - mailed I751 package to VSC - regular mail

3/7/07 - cashed 205.00 check

3/9/07 - cashed 70.00 biometrics check

3/16/07 - received blue receipt notice for biometrics fee

3/24/07 - received NOA extending GC for another year

3/24/07 - received Biometrics appointment letter

4/6/07 - Biometrics appointment in Newark at 9am

4/7/07 - touched

4/11/07 - touched

9/28/07 - email received...Card production ordered!

10/4/07 - received congratulations letter in the mail

10/09/07 - 10 year green card received

This happened to us. The check cleared on second presentation a few days later. Do you have the funds in the account now? We never heard anything else about it...no fees.

May 2, 2005 Conditional Permanent Residence Card Arrives!

Dec 9, 2006 Mail I-751 priority mail (GC expires 12/20)

Dec 12, 2006 VSC receives application

Dec 15, 2006 OMG! Check for $205 bounces!!!

Dec 18, 2006 OMG! realize should have sent chq for $275 (fee changed)

Dec 19, 2006 Panic stricken call to information line - they give me receipt # and tell me no to worry.

Dec 20, 2006 $205 check clears. Phew!

Jan 9, 2007 NOA generated

Jan 25, 2007 NOA received

March 1, 2007 Biometrics Appt

July 9, 2007 Card Production ordered

July 17, 2007 Received Card!
