HI, All,

I had my NOA1 date of Dec 23rd, 2005,

There are no updates or my K1 petition since then, many other people who had NOA1 date later after me started getting approvals, so I emaild the CSC to get an update on my case, this is what they said:

" This petition is undergoing security checks, there is no time limit to this processing. Please inquire again in 60 days if you do not receive a approval letter or a request for additional evidence"

I guess this is a standard reply right?

It does appear to be a standard reply-same thing happened to me at Vermont. I sent my petition in 12/8..................but had no touches nothing. I called and they took a "referral", I got a letter similar to the one you got. I just got approved last week.

Yup standard reply.. 60 days for everything.. except admin processing.

You are still less than 30 days away from their current processing date (12/31) so they will most likely not go out of their way to be of any extra assistance to you.

That is a canned response but I don't know if it means extra security checks or the normal amount with processing.

Once you are 30 days outside processing times call them-they will take a referral and look into the case for you. I hope you get good news soon. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do at this point

My NOA1 is from Dec 19. I called yesterday to see whats going on, the lady told me that they sent a letter requesting more evidence, seems like an RFE right? i still dont get that letter... I hope it doesnt take that long...

So Karol, did u call at 18003755283, or is there a different number for CSC.

Also, if they sent u a letter for RFE, didnt' they update it online?

Yeap I called to that number, my case was not updated online. so I logged in and it showed the last update they made was on 3/10, but the message was the same
