VERBALLY APPROVED TODAY. so far...

I have not posted since Augutst-2006, but today March 28, 2006 my Fiance had her interview at the London Embassy. The whole interview took about 1hour. My fiance said that she first saw a female prior to the actual interview. This female apparently was verifying and organizing her paper work. My fiance said she wasn't very nice. Anyways I had to send a petition for an extension(4 more months) because the NOA had expired before her interview back in December. Well guess what? the petition for extension also expired as well. My fiance then went to the actual interview and it was a male that was very nice to her. The interviewer said that the NOA had expired. My fiance advised him that the petition for extension should have been received by the Consulate. The interviewer found he petition. He then said that it was expired as well. My fiance explained the circumstances that her interview was scheduled way after the petition extension. THE INTERVIEWER VERBALLY APPROVED THE VISA AND STATED TO MY FIANCE THAT A COURIER WILL BE DELIVERING THE VISA TO HER FLAT TOMORROW, ALONG WITH OTHER DOCUMENTS.

Another step closer!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is so odd that you had to 'file' an extension of the NOA2. Usually, they accept an updated letter of intent for that - but maybe it depends on how long ago the NOA2 expired.

Anyway, congratulations!!

Sounds like you had to go through a lot of extra steps and stress with your extensions. I'm glad that is behind you now.

Congratulations!
