I was SO excited about the package!

Well the weird little thing actually is a heartshaped box, which is supposed to be a cupcake with a little bunny on the top with lots of glitter, for holding earrings! :D

Awww.... hooray for packages of chocolate and weird little things from lovely mums - this has made me stupidly excited for the packages of silly stuff I just know my mum will be sending me once I'm over there, bless her!

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

I've been waiting ages for my friend to send me some stuff. She has packaged it all up...but is useless at getting to the PO. I shall have to keep sending her sad faces via email. Get the guilt going!

Yeah... rack up the guilt with multiple sad faces and tales of all those dreams about Galaxies and Minstrels you're so unaccountably having.....

But aww, if it's chocolate you're after, Mags, I'll send you some if you like - right now I'm spending half my life in the post office anyway, 'cos I'm frantically eBaying my worldly goods!

'course I will! Tell me what kinda chocolatey loveliness it is you're missing, and where to send it, and I will stick some in the post ASAP. American chocolate is shocking stuff, and should be avoided at all costs! (Sorry, LovelyAmericanPeople, but you knooow it's true! ;) )

And yup, it's 4:20 here right now - I'm wide awake and contemplating cooking a pizza (mmmm, pizza....). I have the most messed-up sleep pattern ever, after years of working weird shifts... I've been babbling nonsense via MSN & webcam all evening with my Boy, and as usual, he's the one who's flagging (it's only 11ish in Ohio, the big lightweight!) and I'll be up 'til dawn. With pizza. Yum. :P

Wonderful! I'll PM you tomorrow if that's okay? Tell ya what, I make jewellery, I'll make you something in return as I don't expect you to do it for nothing. Anyhoo, it's MY bedtime now...I need to be up to continue painting the outside of the house tomorrow! :D

Yay! Will look out for the PM... let me know what you fancy, and it shall be yours! And oooohhh.... no need at all to do anything in return (just glad to be helping remedy the chocolate deprivation!) but then again, making jewellery is something I wish I had the patience/knack/artiness/talent for, would LOVE to see some Mags-jewellery! :)

I just ate a whole pizza when I only meant to have half... oops. Must go to bed (at last) now, anyway, 'cos a guy is coming to buy my bike (hooray for eBay) in about, um, 3 hours from now. Must sleep.... back tomorrow! Enjoy the house-painting!! :D

So far, the nearest chocolate to a UK Cadbury's bar that I have tried (and I have taken it upon myself to personally sample everything  ) is Hershey's Symphony. Not bad, not bad....

I never thought I'd find a nice USA choc, but that seems to be the best I've sampled so far...AND it is Hershey's. Hot damn!
