VSC - Late March Filers

Hi Fellow VJers,

Just thought I would put a thread on here for those of us who are just starting the process at Vermont, most of the threads I see are people who have sent in their applications earlier in the month. Other service centres welcome, please update your timeline to help us all....Good luck and am sure we can't wait to be with our loved ones!

Thanks Christine. It really does. Now I know the real waiting begins. I hope our papers get to Turkey as fast as your did, because I know once in Turkey, we are going to have some more waiting with having to file the waiver.

If you filed thru Vermont, don't be surprised if you get your NOA1 before the end of this week. Goodluck and welcome to the club . Fingers crossed we'll all be thru with this process and stop checking the status of that check and the uscis website...lol.

You should speed through Vermont. I took about 4 or 5 days off when I sent the package, but preparing the Packet 3 checklist has kept us pretty busy. Enjoy some Rand R, and I'll be looking out for you Noa1 this week .

Thanks Christine, I can't wait either but my fiancee is checking her account to see when the check is cashed so maybe we can get the receipt number and start the whole 'touch' thingy!

Yeah when sending back the packet 3, try request a quick interview 'cos I think they consider requests for quick interview and maybe if you do not plan to have a quick civil wedding immediately you go back, then put the date for them on there as well. Goodluck and am jealous of your timeline...Whao! How is your Omer doing? Hope he is pulling thru with the recent loss. My condolence and tell him to hang in there! All the best!

I am new here but thank you for create these forum for all of us that sent our applications on March , we just send the pettition on March first and on March 19 we got the 1NOA well now we just have to wait that everything will be fine these site is very helpful !!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!

You are so sweet to start this thread, USCIC recieved our case on March 20th and I got the NOA1, not sure what the heck we have to do after this, how I can track, what to look for, what to prepare and when but I try to spend an hour on it each day because it is serious for us, our phonebills can attest to that as I'm sure it does for most of us here!

I think we are along the same path so please add me to your friend list and we can wait together ok?

Go to the USCIS web site https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp and register. Then add your case by entering the receipt # you got on your NOA1. It will have a date of when it was last updated and every time this date changes, it means it was touched by VSC.

I guess since it was received by them March 20 and they sent me the receipt number that was the original contact. Now the date next to our file is March 23, so that is a touch right? Anyone?
