Visa approved today at London!!!

jmwaziri, what time did you leave the embassy? I am trying to plan getting a train from euston, and the last cheap ticket ends at 15:05. Do you think thats enough time to get to euston station after a 10:30 interview?

Sorry James, I was very busy on Saturday...Christine just sent me an offline msg on Yahoo about your question. I was out of the embassy by 12pm so you should have no problem catching the train at 15:05

Also, morning rush hour in London was the worst I have ever seen so far. From Euston I went to Bond Street which is just 3 stations away and then its hardly a 10 min walk from Bond St to the US Embassy. From Euston I took the Victoria Line to Oxford Circus and then Central Line from Oxford Circus to Bond St. This took me about 45 minutes, the tubes are all packed full in the morning

I wish you and Keigwyn all the best for your interviews tomorrow Do not forget to dress up warm! Weather forecast for London tomorrow is not showing any signs of rain yippeeee but u never know!

By the way I got a text message from Special Mail Services (SMS) yesterday, the courier service that delivers our pasports, that my passport will be delivered on Monday. 20 Mar 06

Thanks for the advice! I was thinking about taking a taxi to the embassy from my hotel. The hotel is about 4 mins drive away (1 mile), so it shouldnt be too bad. I could probably even walk that in about 20 minutes...

Jahan, would you mind going over my list quickly and seeing if it looks ok to you.

Here is my list of things I have ready for my interview tomorrow:

Appointment letter

Passport

Birth certificate (original and a photocopy)

police certificate (original and photocopy)

2 Photographs (already had medical)

I-134 - Miranda (and copy)

I-134 - Co-Sponsor (and copy)

I-129F package

NOA1 & 2

New letter of intent from Miranda

Looks good James, I assume that you have supporting evidence to go with the I-134s like employer letters. The first time I was called at the counter, the lady asked me for police cert, birth cert and original I-134. When I gave her the I-134 she did ask "Do you have supporting documents to go with it, employer letter?"

Although she only took photocopies of employer letter without even seeing the original...I would say it would be best to have them.

Yes they sent a text message on my phone on March 18, 2006 that it will be delivered today, i.e. Monday 20 March. It is 12:24pm right now and its not here yet. They said it will be between 8am-6pm, i hope i dont have to wait until 6pm

Ahh! It's 12:30pm in London right now and still no word from James and I'm really worried since you said you got out by 12pm! I'm going nuts waiting for him to call, it has been a very sleepless night!!
