I said I was not going to do this, but after finally getting through, our case is now at NVC, so you can say we are indeed approved.

My dear friends whom I have come to know here, I want this to be a testimony! My Lord and Savior has bestowed on me this blessing. He has done this work, and I am humbled . I give all the credit to Him.

Is anyone else trying to get through to NVC right now? I have called 5 times and keep getting redirected to the automated system... GRR!

would suggest you try sending an email to nvc because heard also from some members that it's really hard to get through, you may email to NVCInquiry@state.gov, please indicate uscis case # in the subject of the email with the following information in the inquiry:

case # from uscis

petitioner's name

petitioner's date of birth

benificiary's name

benificiary's date of birth

approval date

go to the link to create/edit a customer account... you will need your USCIS receipt number.

No problemo. 1st off have you registered for online case updates? If not do that. Then check the last updated date. When that changes it means a touch. Supposidely every time someone picks up your file they have to scan it in and that date is updated on the website. Keep in mind that lately CSC is not updating approval status, so don't be shy to call if you have touches and no approval.

hi tinro12, you have to register to uscis site and if the "last updated" will change that means your application has been "touched"..thats the word we use here in vj..
