Over last 5 years my fiancee has been working for 4 years.

During that period of 4 years she only has 2-3 months of no employment couple of times.

So my question is:

1. do i need to mention those unemployment gaps for 2-3 months? There isnt much space in that form and she has already sent me the signed G325 and I am afraid if I have to attach another sheet, she couldnt sign it now

2. out of last 5 years, she is has been working for only 4. So what do i write for the 5th year or should I only mention the employment for last 4 years?

You do have to list the 5th year even if she was unemployed. It says "If none, so state".

Has she had that many different jobs that you can't put one per box? You need to put the employers name and the dates. For the dates she was unemployed, you have to put "Unemployed" and fill out those dates as well.

I had to go onto an extra sheet of paper, clearly labeled, dated, and signed, because my last 5 years includes periods where I was a student, so I'd have a summer job, then no employment, then a summer job, etc. It made 5 years go on for longer than the boxes provided. Fortunately for me, I'm the petitioner, so I could sign my own pages - I don't know what the requirements are for extra sheets for beneficiary forms - but signed by the beneficiary is probably the safest way to go.

But all advice I've seen recommends not leaving any gaps in the timelines. It's one of their more basic instructions - so best to follow it to the letter!

If I have been at my one job for 5 years do I still need to include the other years from other jobs on the application?

What about my addresses? I have been at my current place for 4 years and the last one for 2 years, do I still need to include the other years from other places? How do I go about putting those things on the app?

You just have to count back 5 years. If you've only had one job for the whole 5 year period, that's all you need to write down (my fiance had one job for the last 13 years, so he just put in the start dates and end dates, which covered more than 5 years. I would include the real start date for a job I'd held for longer than 5 years - that's fine).

Same for housing. Put the start date for the one you've been at for 4 years on the line that would include "present." The second line would be the place you were at for 2 years, you can put the date you started living there, even if it's before the 5 year requested period.

Thanks so much for the quick reply Timsdaisy. It was much needed.
