Thanks everyone. The waiting is getting crazy. And the spotty phone/internet communication only ramps it up. All the documents are there.

Though this "city of issuance" on her VN passport is a cluster ^%#. She went to the office where she received her passport (in her home town) to ask for the issuing city for the ds-156 and they couldn't (wouldn't) tell her. It's not listed on her passport. So we did 3 separate forms: one blank, on with her town, one with HCMC. That should get her there with the correct, and acceptable version. :ranting:

Am I stressing and worrying?? You bet I am. But I am keeping the big picture in mind and waiting a few more days.

Of course I begin a two week work trip on Saturday. So I get the news when I'm in a hotel room in Denver. :bonk: hahahaha

Thanks for all the good wishes.

PINK FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!

Well, it's not pink. I'm not sure of the color of the paper. I will get scan of the actual document that Linh received later today and will read it all.

From what Linh told me on the phone we need to show some more correspondence from early 2005 and I need a letter from my ex-wife confirming her address.

A minor set back. Keeping the big picture in mind I don't see why this can't be completed within a week or so and off to HCMC with the needed letters.

So we've experienced a minor setback. But the faith is not broken.
