Hi All,

I understand that my non-US citizen wife needs to fill out the 325A, but do I, the petitioner, need to fill it out in its entirety as well? I can't find any info yet for the petitioner. Also, I read somewhere that I didn't need to repeat info that was already on my wife's forms. Is this recommended?

Thanks,

redbean

I meant since I am a US citizen, do I still need to fill out the residence and employer information, or just the top half plus the signatures. I guess I'm just hoping some part of this process can be trimmed down.

"Trimmed down"? That would be nice in this process! But there are no shortcuts. If USCIS requires it, it has to be done as part of the process. It is usually required to both the petitioner and beneficiary ARE required to fill out all 4 pages of G-325A. All 4 pages need original signatures! All 4 pages are different at the bottom. Don't do what I did and ASSUME all were the same. They weren't and it was my mistake for doing so. I'm waiting for my RFE (Request For Evidence) to arrive requesting new G-325A's. Read the guides on this site. They're helpful.

OK, last one:

If we are starting the I-130 process, do we both (my foreign spouse and I, the US citizen) check the box for "Status as Permanent Resident?"

Almost there,
