Yeah. The waiting part is stressful. Not to mention when all of sudden my mind is attacked by negative thoughts, mostly at nights. That's why I get sleep deprivation problem and a bit hair loss. I hope I would still have my hair attached once this process is done. My process is not even that complicated yet like others here. But still stressful is stressful.

I have to say...this process is terrible! I'm right at the beginning and I already hate it. I still haven't gotten my NOA1 for my I-130 and the check has not been cashed either! How long should I wait before I start to panic that my I-130 has entered some black hole? I had to send it to Texas Service Center which I'm assuming has forwarded it on to the California Service Center. Does anyone know which center I should hear from first? Thanks!

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!

to lvivlovers,

i think 4-6 months wait is normal however for cr-1 it can go upto 9 months also

its better when u receive your noa-1 file for k-3 its faster max. 6 months average

i did a mistake my husband didnt knew about k-3 people who filed for k-3 after me have thr interveiw dates in april end

so go with k-3 for a faster reunion

gud luck
