Hello everybody!

I have a question about filling the G 325A form...

I am really confused about the line where I have to fill my residence for the last 5 years...

Does this include everywhere I have lived for the last 5 years?because I have been to the USA for the last 2 summers on J1 visa but only for 5 months - do I have to include my address there?

Another thing is that I study in a different city from my permanent address, so currently I live on a temporary address but it is registered with the police...I do not know what to do or write here, really...I feel so dumb that I cannot complete probably the easiest of all forms I have to...

Please help ,Please!

Oh I almost forgot - another question about the employers - what if I have had 2 at the same time do I have to list them or add the second(third) oneas an attachment? The example forms says I have tolist all my employers but for example my fiancee has worked since he was 14 - he doesnt know all his employer's addresses...

I would really be very grateful if somebody could help...

I would list all residences, just as they happened, if you need attach another paper to show the reasoning, or circumstances. same for jobs, list according and give details. I believe they mean jobs since you or he are of legal working age.

In some states, you can legally work at 14.

edit anyway ill start over not knowing where hes from or ages i would say just start with the most current and back track the number of years they are asking you to show. Sorry for the confusing edits

I wish I had thought to ask the same thing here before I filled in my forms, but I think I did them okay - at least I hope I did cause I don't want them to get sent back and have to start over! (

My situation: I'm a Canadian. I live in Canada, and have only worked in Canada. I work as a nanny but over the past couple of years I've taken jobs in different cities. It's weird though because I've ALSO visited the U.S. sometimes longer for the amount of times I worked/lived in certain places. So at first I was just going to put my residence in Ottawa but then I realized my form might be incredibly confusing...they'd see I said my residence was in Ottawa, but I worked in Calgary? That doesn't make much sense does it?

So in the end, I listed the different cities in Canada that I worked AND LIVED as my residences, even though I was only at a couple of places for 2 months. For when I was just visiting in the U.S. I listed my regular address as my home address during those times and didn't list that I was visiting, because I didn't exactly have an address in the U.S. I didn't have enough space to list all my employers so I just wrote them on an attachment. BTW, I had the problem of not being able to remember all the addresses of my employers, but thankfully, I was able to contact some of them, tell them why I was asking and get their addresses, and for those I did not get in contact with I was able to look up their addresses. (And I didn't find this the easiest form to fill out, although I haven't filled out any others yet... so you're not alone! )

I hope I did it right...another thing I had a slight problem with was that I filled the forms out online, but one of the cities was too long so when I printed the forms there was a + sign that printed over top of the end of the box and it only showed the first part of the city (I should have thought to abbreviate it...) I was wondering if anyone knew if that would cause problems but was afraid to ask...does anyone know?

Dont be afraid to ask that little sign comes up alot for discussion, i believe most either abbrevated or just left that line blank, and went back filled in with pen.

I guess what I'm wondering is if the forms are sent with the little + signs will it cause problems? Because I thought to leave it blank and fill it in with a pen, or abbreviate, but not soon enough, and by the times my forms were printed, I didn't want to use up more paper than I was already using (it wasn't my paper or printed unfortunately so I felt bad!) So I already sent the signed forms with the + sign to my fiancé... should I do it over again and tell him to wait??? The only two spots are a city which was too long and also I tried to write I-129F Petition for Fiance but it didn't fit so they just show up as something like Riviere-Beau+ and I-129F Petition+

Oh, and I was afraid to ask, because I'm afraid the answer is that it will cause problems and I have to do it over, which is fine, but I just feel bad! Just a stupid little mistake if so!
