HELP pls Question about connecting thru CHINA (HONG KONG)

Hello,

My fiancee is coming on March 7th. I just booked her flight. It connects thru Hong Kong from Manila to Newark NJ. Do you need documents in China, at the airport? Does she need a visa for China?

As long as the person does not leave the airport transit area, Visa is not required. But then again, Phillipines is a part of ASEAN, so she would not need a visa even if she gets out of the airport. I'm Indonesian, and I've been to HK without Visa

You will need your passport and boarding pass for the connecting flight. That is a very nice airport!

She will always need the visa and passport. Hong kong may or may not check her visa, but she will definitely need her visa when she gets to NJ (port of entry). The only thing she will need is her passport and visa in China. Good luck and congrats

She does not need a CHINESE/HONGKONG visa but of course she would need to have her K-1 Visa
