hey Guys,

On the form I-134 Affidavit of support, the last section Oath of affirmation of sponser what needs to be done with this?

Do we need to have it notrized at a bank or somewhere similar?

Yes, it needs to be notorized.

I've seen lots of people write that their bank did it for free. However, my wonderful Bank of America said they would only do "official bank documents."

Luckily we have a notary next door to my office, who did it for me. Ask your bank to do it first, then try other options.

Many banks have stopped notarizing documents that do not originate with them.

I got my Affidavit of Support notarized at the Automobile Club (AAA). Normally they charge $7, but it was crowded and I had to wait about 20 minutes, so the woman did it for free.
