Hello all, I have very much doubt about this phase that I am:

firstly our I-129F was aproved in 02/01/2007 (mm/dd/yy) and it is valid from 02/01/2007 to 05/31/2007;

second I dont know what the papers are need to my husband files ( is it only the affidavit of support? are there other papers? which?)

and lastly if my interview date is in 06/12/2007 my approval notice of I-129f wont be valid more, what will I have to do?

* Till now I received nothing from consulate and my husband didnt phone to NVC, in reality we know nothing about NVC, consulate and package 3 and 4.

I ll apreciate all answers posted, thank you soo much

Mona Lisa Smith

If you are the beneficiary you should be expecting a package from the consulate, which should give all the instructions you need regarding additional documents you need to submit, the medical exam, and the I134 or I864, whichever is neeeded.

Please review the K3 Flowchart in the Guides it may help you.

Also, as the beneficiary you can write to the NVC to inquire about the status of the I129F. Make sure to include your USCIS receipt number in the subject line and your full name and date of birth in the body of the email.

Good luck :)

Sandy

We also were approved on 02/01/2007 and did not here from NVC untill the 02/23/2007. On the 19th my husband emailed an inquire to NVC, and on the 23rd we got a response from them that they had already forwarded the case to the consulate. On the next day the paper mail arrived dating from 02/20/2007 that they had started to process our case. I think, they forgot about it and the email from my husband was sort of a reminder :huh: So, it may be a good idea to contact the NVC.

Good luck :)

The Rio Consulate is quoting a 6 week trasfer time to receive cases from NVC. Who knows. i have questions about the website which has two sets of forms listed for the beneficiary to consult. One set is for I130 petitioners and one set is for I129F, K1 petitioners. We are trying to have them state which we set they expect for K-3 petitoners. there has been some confusion about what is asked for with respect to the Affidavit of Support, 684 or 134. We will follow your progress closely. I will return from Rio to California to apply for K-3 on March 15.
