This is one thing that varies from place to place.

Example:

Guangzhou China lists 2 different medical places near the consulate. One charges 600RMB the other is 800RMB.

The consulate or embassy tend to send a list of the medical facilities authorized to do the medical exam with the invitation packet.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

As far as I know the civil surgeon cannot charge more than $100 (U.S.) but that may just be in Brazil.

The doctor my fiance will see must have used a different exchange rate because it's probably going to be about ten dollars more than that

The vaccines for him were free as well as the blood tests and x-rays. We were fortunate though because he looked for health care clinics that offer free vaccinations.

Just for clarification, the physicans who conduct overseas medicals for Embassies/Consulates are 'panel physicians'.

Civil surgeons are USCIS approved physicians here in the US.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

NY, I tried scouring the Tel Aviv US Embassy web site for information on physicians and exam costs but didnt have any luck. When packet 3 comes it will have your physicians listed then you can call for pricing (im sure you already knew this) Maybe if you find your fellow Iraeli VJers they can guide you in the right direction.

Of course... it's easy to substitute one for the other when we know what we're talking about, but there seem to be a lot of newbies here lately and I wanted to make the clarification for their benefit.
