Can I be with my wife during her visa interview?

I hope this isn't a dumb question....but, can I be with my wife during the actual interview for her K-3 visa in Manila? I mean acutally be there in the same room with her as she is being interviewed?

K-3 Timeline

Marriage : 2005-08-09

I-130 Sent : 2005-10-04

I-130 NOA1 : 2005-10-21

I-129F Sent : 2005-10-25

I-129F NOA1 : 2005-11-01

I-129F NOA2 : Not received

NVC Received : 2005-12-15

NVC Left : 2005-12-20

Packet 3 : Still waiting

Medical : 2006-4-20

Interview : 2006-4-27

Of course you can be. I am not from the Philipinnes but at the visa interview my wife was with me in Turkey.

I am now a US citizen.

Depends on the embassy. Some embassies won't even let you step inside the door. I'd check it out beforehand. :thumbs:

Very true. Contact your embassy and ask in advance. Some cannot get inside and others are allowed inside but cannot attend or speak at the interview. Depends on each embassy and how they apply their rules. Good luck.

The Dominican Embassy website states that they "strongly" suggest that your spouse attend the interview.
