I129 Photo requirements

I have a question about the photo requirements for the initial filing of the I129F. We phoned and requested the forms sent to us from the customer service line. We followed all directions on the direction package that was included and they specifically asked for the photo where you can see one side of the face and the ear instead of the passport style photo. Apon doing further research on the guides on this site I notice that it states they are the front facing passport photos that are required? We are confused as we submitted our forms off TSC and was recieved there on March 9th using the directions that came from them but now were seing other wise? Were there directions in the package incorrect and if so once we get the actual NOA1 is there a way that we can clarify and submit these photos to them if there directions were infact wrong to save waiting for it to be denied or an RFE or do we have to wait for an RFE in order to submit these now even though they had posted updated information in the package but this information may be wrong?

Thanks,

Jeff

The information can be misleading, but it should just be a standard passport photo. We've been through that part of the process. So if you go to a place that does passport photos they will be able to do the pictures for you.

The information about the photos that was sent to you is incorrect. You need full-frontal standard passport photos. Nothing you can do about it now until they send you an RFE. The delay should only be a few days though.
