I'm getting nowhere with NVC

NVC assigned my case number on December 29th 2006. They "generated" my AoS billing and DS-3032 on January 8th.

My spouse received the DS-3032 the third week of January in the Philippines. She immediately asigned me as agent.

So far, I have received absolutely nothing from NVC in the mail at my U.S. address. No copy of the DS-3032, no billing, NOTHING.

At this rate NOTHING will be accomplished since I must have those billing statements!

Is this "normal"?

What can I do?

I would try to contact them, email usually takes 2 or 3 days for a response... but it can be very difficult to get through on the phone. I've had my best luck around 1:30 to 2:00 EST.

Since you are going through the CR/IR1 process.. have you thought about using Jame's shortcuts?

Check out the link below for more info.. many people doing CR/IR1 visa's have used these shortcuts to great effect including myself.

I would call the NVC, sometimes it is a bit difficult to get through to them but I find that the best time for me to ring them is at 7:30 am when they first open. I am sure that is a bit early for you, but I generally dont have to wait too long on hold. If it says to call back at another time, call right back and you should be able to get through. Oh and about 11:00am time frame isnt too bad either, opt to speak to a live operator and they can help you.

Remember to have your case number and your spouse's DOB ready for the operator.

Good luck, I hope you hear something soon!
