Can anyone out there that has been through this tell me exactly how long it took them to receive their approved (K-3) visa from their interview date? My wife lives on a smaller province (Masbate) where mail delivery may take longer....will this make a difference? Any information on this general subject or about the span of time this may take would be really helpful. Thanks!

My husband was called late on the 6th day after his interview that his security check was done, brought the passport into the Casablanca, Morocco Consulate on the 7th day and was called back again on the 10th day at 1p.m. Moroccan time to tell him the visa was ready to pick up. So my husband rushed to the Consulate to pick it up. In short It took my husband 10 days to get his K3 visa after he had his interview when he was given the 221G stating it needed administrative processing (which meant he needed the security check) and he would be contacted. From what I can see everybody gets it back in a different amount of time, doesn't matter what Consulate or if the same. So just be patient and I hope you get it soon.

Good Luck,

Paula
