He has seen fat people, but not the morbidly obese 300 plus pounders here. He literally stopped walking

and was staring with his mouth open until I grabbed him. I don't recall seeing any 3-400 pound women, men, or children in Morocco when I visit either.

It really has a lot to do with our sedimentary lifestyle here. Now they are noticing rising obese Asians. Our country isn't

health conscience as it should be IMO.

My husband couldn't believe how 'green" everything was. how big america is. how tall the buildings was. He kept saying how his mother would love that appliance, every time I would use one, like the can opener, the microwave, the washer, the dryer, the toaster..isnt that funny! but the best is how america is full of bugs! he hates bugs and spiders!!! It is just hilarious to me. He gets all freaked out about a moth, or a june bug! He is like did you see that? i am like what that moth or its just a june bug! LOL!

Thats funny! At least, ppl are being nice and want to be friendly.Im sure he will enjoy the waving soon. After all, it is alot better to get waved at instead of the middle finger...lol

Funny you say that because my husband thinks that Bostonians are remarkably unfriendly. I love it because I hate going into a coffee shop or store etc. and being expected to make some sort of small talk. He wishes people here were more open.

Yeah, I thought Bostonians were even more notorious than New Yorkers for that. Anyway, that's great that he thinks the opposite. It'll make things much easier.
