We have a lot of trouble with finding jewish/arabic names. For boys we can only agree on Adam. Noah is another option but I don't like it as much. For a girl we like Naima (kind of like naomi) and Zahra (his mother's name, also my great-grandmother's name)

I like Noah. That's a good compromise. In my family (I think its a religious tradition, but not sure exactly) I'm supposed to name my daughter after my dead grandmother, Anna. But that name sounds really stupid with my fiance's last name (which also starts with an A) Maybe we'll do it her middle name. If I even have a girl.

i was just laughing because my name is Anna and Ali's last name starts with an A as well and I was like aww phooey. I dreamt as a little girl of getting an awesome last name and now it just sounds like a mouthful of A's.

Even though Ali's initials are AAAA (no lie) I wouldn't stray too far from other A names. Depends on the syllables involved.
