Hi all.

I just got my NOA2 approval in the mail over the weekend! It was really quick (via the Vermont Service center) - +/-3 weeks! I am now proceeding with docs for the next steps and have some questions.

Regarding I-134:

Regarding #2: I have been working abroad for the last 2 years (where Daniela and I met). Should I put an asterisk referring to a separate document that explains I have been here for only a month, but that I was born here and spent the rest of my life here, aside from these 2 years abroad?

Regarding #7: I reviewed the example form online and there are many blanks. I have answers to some of these, but are all required? If so, do I need proof of all of them (e.g. is a print out of my 401k summary online acceptable for stocks and bonds)? What does the line about cash surrender value mean?!

Regarding the other forms, how do I know which we need to fill in? My guess is that they'll be mailed to Daniela directly from the consular office, but it'd be nice if we had them ready in advance:

DS-156

DS-156K

DS-157

DS-158

Is the DS-230 only required after we get married?

Daniela has already gotten her police records and we'll wait to hear about when she should have a medical. Is there anything else we can/should do in the meantime (any other paperwork)?

Thanks!

Gabe
