I'm happy to start filling in the forms I received in packet 3, I wonder if I can use white-out? I've made some silly mistakes so far....

Also.... they ask about my home phone number, do I really need to put + in the begiining of it and then follow by my country code and such?

So did you guys just print the forms out from the internet then fill them in with a ballpen, or did you fill them online and print them out after you were done filling?

There are some huge advantages to doing the forms available online. Typing answers is always going to be neater. And the DS-156 available online generates a bar code automatically, which can be scanned at the consulate or embassy and avoids the dangers of someone at that end hand inputting your personal information into the government computer system and making an error.

I don't know about the forms you received, but our were years out of date for Abu Dhabi. So we used the forms available online for all of my fiance's necessary forms.
