G-325A - Incorrect spelling

My Fiance just sent me his G-325A form....and I have a few questions..

*He used abbreviations for the months (employemnt/residence), and for December he put "Des". Will this get rejected since the correct abbreviation is "Dec"?

*For his current employer, he listed the street address, city, and province. But he didnt list the country (S. Africa). Will this be a problem?

Can I just fill this information in by hand? Or will he need to re-do and mail back to me?

No, the G-325A is a data sheet, and typos like that are understood.

This was asked of the VISA Officer in Guangzhou on CFL board.

Dear CFL Member,

If this petition is still at one the USCIS service centers, you should contact them to find out if this is important. You can call them at 1-800-375-5283.

Once the petition reaches us, if there is a small typo on the G-325A, it's not a big deal. However, a typo on the I-130 or I-129F might mean that we need to re-do security namechecks on an applicant.

Don't worry so much about the accuracy of the G-325A, while required, it's not nearly as important as other forms. The level of forgiveness is much great than say, for the I-129f.

Thanks for all the information and reassurance! I really need it right now! As you know, this whole process is stressful and I will be surprised if my fiance still wants to marry me by the time its all over lol
