What's up with all the daily threads ?

I dont feel anyone is looking for the "friendly face" because most dont even know what someone looks like. Maybe the more friendly attitude, someone that doesnt pick everything thats said to pieces trying to prove someone wrong, most are here to pass the time and it doesnt take any more time to be presentable than it does to be rude. There will always be those we dont (like) but its based mostly on the way they have represented themselves by the constant picking or laughing. Its really to bad we all cant be perfect but thats life. I would really think we all have more important stones to turn today than who starts the hello thread, either you post or you dont. Early bird starts the thread. (again my opinion) ive learned to add this!

There is no one that I dislike because I don't have enough information about them to dislike them. There are those I'm nonchalant about, but then, I don't go by feelings. I'm an ENTP, preferring logic and reason to emotion.

The way they present themselves is not as important as they way they are PERCEIVED to have presented themselves, and that is solely in the eye of the individual beholder. The presenter has no control over that.

Let me break this down for in a simple way.

GEG, Charles, Brnidokiegurl, and now Natty:

People are quite sick of you getting on your soap box about this so called clique as you have been doing it every chance you get. It's quite apparent that you have one of your own. You make a daily thread and its the 4 of your posting back and forth to each other. You say you don't have issues with someone else making a daily thread yet you don't post in them when they are made. I made 3 threads last to show how silly this whole thing has gotten. You feel there is a clique amongst mena, then that is fine. However its friendship which can't and won't be broken up.

You guys talk about being grown adults yet you indirectly talk about everyone here on the boards, that isn't childish? I will admit that I have participated in some childish behavior, but so have all of you. So when you sit around an point fingers as if you haven't done a thing, its quite insulting. We heard what you said about cliques, but let me assure you these are friendships that are open to everone and anyone. On the other hand, many of us feel that some of you go out of your way to instigate a fight. When a subject matter has caused a 20 page argument, ettiquite would be not to re-open that subject. When you do you are only instigating a fight and if you get what you asked for don't be surprised.

Now I know all of this has hurt the board, clearly we are not going to get past our differences but we can at least be civil. I would like to call for a truce, which is not censorship. We all fight here from time to time, we are stressed out and there are alot of hormones running around here. But in the end we all get over it, which makes this a family not a clique.

We will agree to disagee. Rudeness is based on perception, too. Some of us consider it to be straight up talk, no sugar coating, and some of us do quite well with that.

Im talking to green, and we are not fighting, and usually or never have nor have i with Charles and i dont even know Natty until seeing them yesterday. As new as i am i also have many people coming to me asking what seems to be everyones problems with being so rude and not acting like ladies they are asking me not directing it my way. We all have our friends, but rude is still rude. In what i saw there was not alot of problems but good conversation where many were learning and discussing until someone took it upon themselves not once but twice to jump on someone thats when i left. I dont have a side im only a new step child, there are arguments and then they are gone until the next. Today i didnt really realize i was in one truthfully until you commented.

For someone who prides themselves on being rational and unlike the typical emotional reactive woman, this is a rather immature and quite emotional. I'm suprised it wasn;t followed with a smiley.

I'm sure you will have a response for me- one that turns the table in a logical way. For a change, try doing a little self-reflection on what role if any you may or may not have played to contribute to the drama of the last several days.

You post this drivel after you've been insisting that perception is in the eye of the beholder? I don't see any criticism from the 3 of you. I see punk azz Charles bringing up old threads. This from a bigot who has called our husbands terrorists on more than one occasion. His only goal here is to make fun, and make sexist comments ("go back to doing dishes" I belive was the gem a few days ago).

Then there's you who considers herself a person who argues like a man, yet you constantly whine and piss about who you thought were your friends, yet you say just a few posts up that you don't know anyone well enough to know if you dislike anyone. Which is it SZ? Are your feelings hurt (of course not, your feelings don't get hurt) or are you instigating arguments? Your fake posts "warning" other members about the clique are tired. You have some nerve claiming you've been mocked for months when you call our fornicators and everything else. You couch that vitriolic poison in Islam, but everyone sees through it. You are one mean bi!ch, and that's all there is to it.

And to top it all off, this whole thing is retarded. Your pretense of caring about this board and your lies about how many PMs you have is pure drama and you know it. If you don't want to be called out, argued with, or put on the spot, just shut up, then.

I really have no issue with you. Actually I feel like you have been dragged into this mess for no reason at all. The history of arguments we share with Green-eyed and Chalres goes pretty far back. Its nothing new. There is no us against them here. There is no clique, everyone is welcome here. In recent threads I have gotten into verbal disagreements with some of my so called clique members. The only thing this clique BS is doing is creating a line across the forum which never existed.

We're not a clique, just having the same perceptions. I'll tell you this, there are many more than us, but we ask them not to post because there's enough drama without them. I also didn't know Natty until he started posting here, but he's very nice and I hope he sticks around. Trying to control what people say is part of the problem around here. This board belongs to no one of us, no matter how long you've been here. There is also a problem with people being MENA or non-MENA. There should be no such thing, we are all VJ.

I'm not interested in what people say, I pay attention to what they do. When I get lectures about taking problems to PM, but no one does that to me, I do as I see them do, not as they say. It gets the point across. When I get lectured on not holding grugdes, but there are grudges tossed my way, I know tossing grudges is what is done.

Talk is cheap, action takes guts.
