04/26/07 - NOA1 for AOS and AP

05/08/07 - AP touched

05/22/07 - Biometrics

05/23/07 - RFE email notification for 485

05/29/07 - RFE received by mail - Request for medical exam

06/01/07 - Contacted congressman regarding RFE

06/08/07 - Case resumed processing

10/01/07 - Email Notice of Transfer to CSC

10/04/07 - Pending at CSC

11/09/07 - Green Card Approved

Normally a K-1 means a quick trip through NVC.... insha'allah it will only be a matter of a few weeks before Casa gets the case back and sets you up for a new interview.

Actually with a reaffirmed petition, it skips the NVC altogether and goes directly to the consulate along with a recommendation to issue a visa! It can take about 4 weeks or so before Casa will call him with his new interview date.

Exactly how long has VSC had this returned petition? I'm asking because there are so many I know of out of VSC waiting on word of their returned K1 petition...waiting longer than 6-8 months.

kiyah......they have had my petition since april 14,2006 almost a year now about 10 months i would say...ok thank you so much

hello there!!!!! no i really havent done anything but sit hear and wait.......all i had was a congress lady help me make monthly status checks..but she couldnt go any further......and i got that last letter telling me that i would have to wait up to 6 months before i hear anything.......they must of been close to my case to work on it.......i really dont know.....but im so excited thats its finally moving back to casablanca :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: thanks again Ella
