DS-230 interesting reply from embassy

My fiance sent in all the forms from the Ebassy packet. Recently he recieved a letter and copy of the DS-230 that he needed to put All places he has lived since 16 and if he etered USA before. Well he did not understand what they wanted since he listed his addresses in Pakistan and they are the same ones he lived in since a child, and also the one in UK where i resicdes now. Also he has never been to USA and that is what he put. He then called the EMbassy help line and they said just redo it and send it. They asked if he did it in ink or on the computer he stated he did all forms only on computer. He did not understand what was the problem. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen.. It is strange to us, however he will redo form and attach a little letter and send it back.

I have never heard this before. I would just re-do the form again and list specific years that he lived at the addresses. There is also a DS 230 Part 2; maybe they are looking for that as well to go with the DS-230? Goodluck
