We were surprised to received from PhilPost the Receipt Notice from the US Embassy in Manila indicating that "the hardcopy files of the petition have been delivered by the NVC". It arrived safely but is it normal for USE to mail it thru regular Philippine Postal Service? I expect they will use more safe courier...

Need thoughts about this if its normal or not...

Thank you.

What are you asking about? NVC mails the file to the USE using DHL courier. If your talking about your girl receiving a letter from the embassy that she is now in the que for an interview, or the packet 4 that is mailed to your girl closer to the interview, I believe that is sent through regular Philippines mail.

Thank you for the information. No one discusses here in the forum about PhilPost (Philippine Postal Service) doing the delivery of 2 sensitive mails from the USE prior to the interview. They should have a private courier deliver those mails...had bad experience with PhilPost that's why. I know from NVC it was DHL and the visa (as always mentioned) will be delivered by Delbros.

Hope the Packet 4 (am I right) will be delivered promptly before the interview/medical appointments. My fiancee is an hour flight to Manila and it's not just easy to take off from work for a week or so in such a short notice.

Thanks again...

Hi Roy and Yazi,

You said the packet will be delivered by Delbros? See previous post from BJZags...so the Packet 4 will be delivered by regular Philippine postal or Delbros? I am talking about the packet with the interview date information and other important documents. Thanks!
