I would suggest to go home . My fiancee iis in hk and I am waiting on them to transfer hers to manila . It has been almost a month waiting now . I tried the nvc thing and did not work for me . They told me I would have to have it transferred . I contacted hk and the day after they said it would be transferred as soon as manila would request it . You will have to quit your job when you move to the USA anyway . Good luck .

Sir or Ma'am,

I would like to request my beneficiaries interview location change to (Put your local embassy here) due to that being his/her work country. Attached is a copy of the scanned biographic page, and the visa page showing they live in that country.

The address of the beneficiary is;

Beneficiaries address in that country.

The phone number of the beneficiary is; (Your Phone number).

The phone number of the petitioner is: (Petitioners phone number).

V/r;

The petitioners full name

The petitioners phone number

The petitioners address

Include the scanned copies of the Biographics page, and the Visa page as attachments (PDF or JPG preferred).

NOTE: I have done this myself and it worked. I also recommended it to a friend, and it worked for them as well. It took them about 30 days to make the change in the system for NVC. In my friends case, his beneficiaries case number was changed. My case numbers did not change.

I did the same before..nvc replied that I have to contact the consulate because the file is already sent to them..it will cause more delay if they will contact the nvc now.ceac alredy showing "ready"it means the file is already with the consulate. .the best thing to do now if they really want to transfer the files, is to email the consulate where they want to process their visa application.

Yeah if the file is on its way already to Manila it is faster to just do the interview there. The problem is getting the medical done at St. Lukes (at least 5 days before the interview). I hope the message above can be used by someone in the future at least.

They are the one who will schedule their interview..I think they have still time for the medical..your info is big help as well..specially if the file is on the way from uscis to nvc..?

Yep, it is possible. I am Canadian, was a permanent resident of New Zealand, and I did all my K1's bits and bobs in NZ. If you can show you are legally present, in my case a permanent resident, you are good to go.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

But,i am not residents in hk

I hav only working visa here....

Tnx for kindly help

When you have working visa it means you are resident in one country,like me..I'm filipina but I'm working and I have working visa here in Dubai..so I'm resident here and I can process my paper here like k1..so you are the same..you are legal resident of hk because you have working visa...
