How long does it usually take to receive NOA1?

I sent my I-129F packet on 9/26/14, tracked it, and saw it was delivered on 9/30/14. It's now 9 days later, and I haven't heard anything, not even that they officially received it. How long does it usually take to receive the NOA1? I sent my packet to the Texas Service Center.

Well, don't worry, you'll get your NOA soon! Your petition was definitely delivered, then got scanned into their system and is now sitting in their mailroom, waiting to be opened and reviewed. TSC is just very backed up at the moment.

It's not a bad sign. They're probalby just really, really backed up. Your package did arrive - you have proof of that. Also, don't count the weekends So it's just been 6 business days since 9/30. Still within the normal time frame. You could receive your NOA any day now. You just gotta be patient.

Give it 2 weeks minimum. Did you sign up on the USCIS website for email notification? That comes faster and is something you should do.

I'll just share my facts since I sent mine the day after you:

I sent my I-129F to Texas on 9/27 via Priority USPS. Tracking showed it was delivered on 10/2. USCIS notified me that it was received on 10/7 (because I submitted the G-1145).

I also submitted the G-1145 form with mine but still haven't heard anything. I'm worried!

Call them, can't hurt. You should have received a notice by now.

I hope u mean u sent it to the Texas Lockbox. Petitions don't initially get sent into TSC.

Once sending your petition to the Texas Lockbox depending on your home state it will then be routed to either the Texas Service Center or California Service Center. You live in Illinois so it should be routed to CSC.

My attorney sent my I-129F on 09/30 and I still haven't even received a text confirming they received anything. I too filled out the G-1145 and still haven't heard anything which has me worried here as well.

I still haven't even got a text confirming my I-129F was received and mine was sent on 9/30. Could you forward me the link to the USCIS where I can send an email and ask if received? I have no tracking or anything, just I know it was sent on the date above. thanks
